Students will be using math manipulatives during our math lessons to encourage hands-on learning. The primary composition books will be used for students' independent writing time. Construction paper is used in my classroom to accompany writing crafts to display in the hallway. During this pandemic, the students have been unable to have much hands-on learning using manipulatives. Having enough manipulatives for each student to have their own set will really make a difference in their learning for the upcoming school year, while also keeping them safe and healthy.
