I have requested class sets of books for our fifth grade students. The materials will impact our fifth grade students in a major way. These books will give our students the opportunity to learn based on their interests. This will allow students to be more engaged in their reading and to become better readers. Students will be able to have class discussions on the same books, allowing students to connect text to real world events, improving their comprehension and debate skills. Without your help, our students will not have the opportunity to read as a class. Our ESL students really benefit from reading books that help them practice and master the English language. Please help our students become better, engaged readers.

About my class
