I am transferring schools in 2021-2022. This would be my first year teaching at the"new" school, but I already know that a large percentage of the school are students from low-income families and military kids. When I was given a tour of the school, I was told that teachers do not have class sets of calculators, technology is outdated, classrooms have not been repainted in decades, and still have carpet in them. I was also told that the school does not even offer PreCalculus or Calculus. I want to change that, but I need help, resources and technology. A classroom set of TI-84 calculators would be an awesome start for a new teacher in a new year!
