So many of us hear that the English Language is so hard to learn. But it isn't! There is logic to the seeming madness of the English language. My goal is to help my students learn the phonograms that are the basics of language, and to understand the rules that govern and explain why our language works the way it does. Once kids can understand the order and logic, the entire language system is unlocked. With just a few tools and explanations, these students can finally rise up to grade level reading and beyond. By starting at their reading level and gaining confidence in what they can do, the students will then become excited about reading and continuing to gain knowledge through books.
