These materials will create a learning experience that will empower my first grade students to become curious learners who seek creative solutions to real-world problems. Through a series of STEAM challenges students will work together as a team, utilize a wide range of materials and encourage them to design, build, and adjust plans to create some very cool structures, art projects and more. . Using STEAM education will results in students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. The products I have selected will help my friends become the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
