The materials I order would only be used in my classroom. Flexible seating in the classroom would allow students to sit in different configurations which would allow more collaboration between students. For students with ADHD, sitting on a hard seat in the same space all day might seem like torture. Flexible seating will allow students to sit on wobble stools, wobble seats, cushions, or floor mats during instruction which would allow students opportunities to move around the room. The flexible seating will be used throughout the day when a student needs a different seat to help them with focusing on the lesson. By donating to my classroom, you will not only help to increase a students attention but also their academic achievement. Research has found that students are more actively engaged when they are using non-traditional seating versus a regular desk and chair.
