This is a diverse group of your every day student with a twist - they require a challenging atmosphere. They're 8th graders in a Florida public school Choice Program. Learning for these students revolves around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). No matter what they do or what they learn, it's imperative for STEM to be connected. They challenge me and I challenge them. Together we find the STEM connections of the past and today. These inquiring minds are challenged to predict how it may relate to the future. Don't give them simple text books. Avoid the dry history films (History Channel o.k.). Give them something they can grab on to and they will run with it.

About my class
