Allowing me to provide my special educational students the ability to sit in flexible seating will allow my 7th grader to learn in a comfortable setting despite their disabilities or distractions that happen within the learning environment. A majority of my students have ADHD along with other underlining learning disabilities that hinder them from learning in a traditional setting. Learning that my students always like to have something to do with their hands or always be on the move makes this grant more important than ever. Being in person during a COVID pandemic has made the stress of learning increase. The items that I am requesting have been found to benefit in reducing stress and claiming of students. Allowing a student to learn when they are comfortable, non-stressed and undistracted is a classroom goal of mine. I am requesting this grant to not only benefit my students in my classroom today but for years to come. Help get busin' seating at CRMS!
