The reading program and the materials requested will assist with using an effective structured approach that breaks reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds, and then building on these skills over time. My project allows me to bring effective literacy approaches to the modern classroom. Traditions schools offer a structured literacy approach that helps all children learn to read; not just those who are struggling. My class aims to provide scholars with the knowledge and skills produce effective readers, writers, and spellers. It is the first approach to use explicit, direct, sequential, systematic, multi-sensory instruction to teach reading, which is not only effective for all scholars but essential for teaching students with dyslexia.
