I come from a Montessori teaching background and believe that students should play a part in their learning. The materials that I am asking help for will help students learn how to become independent learners. With the notebooks students will practice taking notes and creating journal entries to help them with their learning. I am going to be having students create maps to help them learn geography so they can practice what they are learning. Flexible seating is so important even in a middle school with the floor pillows I am asking for students will get the chance to have optional seating through out the class.
