The camera will allow my students to engage in their media art and technology elective. I want my students to use a quality camera to develop their projects, two of which will be semester-long projects. They will learn the process of producing short films and use the camera to write and create their own pieces. My plan is to invite parents and peers to a premiere of the students’ short films at the end of the school year. Allowing students to create and present their hard work increases student engagement.
