These non traditional school desks and chairs will help provide my students with a learning environment that they can look at as their "home." I teach in a Title I school district and many of my students come from poverty stricken homes and backgrounds. Many of them don't have access to their own, individual learning spaces at home. My goal is for my students to have a workspace that they can personalize as their own and be responsible for. With the way these desks are built, students will be able to stay more organized.
