I am a speech-language pathologist and yoga teacher. Upon the start of the school year, I felt it very important to consider ways to help support my students with their communication and language skills and their overall socioemotional well-being. I hold the importance of holistic healing and support very highly to help our students learn and succeed in all life avenues. Due to socio-economic reasons, many of my students have not practiced yoga and have not had access to such a healing modality. I intend to support my students holistically by offering them yoga and mindfulness within and outside the school environment.
