The materials purchased for this project will help almost 1000 children be able to learn the importance of agriculture and how it affects our every day lives. Students will learn how the agriculture community works in detail and learn all the responsibilities and jobs that go along with it. We will be doing hands on activities to let the students be exposed to how plant life works and to also teach them responsibility and how to take care of plants. They will be exposed to a variety of different agricultural backgrounds and be able to appreciate and understand how they all work together to make life as we know it today! From these particular materials, students will be able to look at a plant model and clearly see the different parts of the plant in detail. They can also use the magnifying glasses to closely look at different plants and animals in detail. Another product I am excited about is the visual root grower where students can visually see the different stages of plant growth even under the ground.
