Kindergartners are still at an age where they need lots of physical activity and movement. My project will help to foster some natural movement so that they children can focus easier and for longer periods of time. Research has been done on adding moving to learning and how it helps the brain to make connections. I have taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for a combined 10 years and I would love to be able to give my students the ability to move and make choices about their seating to help them concentrate and learn. I have noticed in my experience that when children are moving they are more engaged and able to retain information!
