When I was hired into this Math position, I walked into a very empty classroom. We had nothing! A few empty bookcases and some paper. I was told when teachers left my room in previous years, they had taken everything with them. Everything has been provided by me, down to the chalk we use, and makers for the whiteboard. I have had to borrow materials from other teachers to get through the year. It would be nice to allow students to have materials of their own and be able to explore learning and have items at their fingertips.

About my class
