Our students will be attending summer school to make up for COVID-19 learning loss. My class will have a superhero theme. Reading, writing, math, art, and service will be included within the theme. Our students will decorate the superhero capes and donate them to the local YWCA domestic violence shelter as the students' final project. By completing this service they will earn their own superhero cape. This project will teach our students the value of service in their community and help them think of others. They will learn the joy of making a difference in the lives of other children, and thus become real superheroes themselves!

About my class
