I am requesting a carpet which is larger than the one I currently have in my classroom which is in bad shape. When the children are asked to come to large group they are more comfortable when they have their own space to sit in. The carpet I have chosen will offer more space for the children. This carpet offers the children the opportunity to recognize numbers as they count both in English and Spanish. It will allow the children to also recognize and name letters in written words. I know this will be something that the children in my classroom will be able to enjoy for years to come.
