I am currently located in the teacher work room. It is used for teacher projects and for afternoon dismissal in addition to my little designated corner in the large open room. The room divider panels will help decrease visual and noise distractions so my students can better focus in a shared room. And it will help students not feel like they have an audience watching them practice their speech and language skills if others enter the room to use it for other purposes. The horseshoe desk will help students each sit closer to me. I can help them and show them my mouth to make speech sounds more easily. My students also need proper height chairs in good condition, so they can be comfortable as they do their therapy.
