The mission of our Freshman Academy is to build school culture based on school pride and personal responsibility. Our students will be earning tickets for positive behaviors in the classroom and around the school. Those tickets will be redeemed during mentoring sessions for fun incentives and colorful and exciting school supplies. These tickets will be used to reinforce the concepts of earning, saving, spending, opportunity cost, budgeting, time management, and other personal financial literacy skills. Through these resources, students will engage in tangible, real-world exchanges that reinforce personal accountability. Through this experience, we hope to create a positive culture while instilling economic values that will last a lifetime.
