My co-teacher and I know how important it is for us to get our students not only excited about reading, but get them comfortable and fluent with reading. We also know it is important to have a variety of genres, authors, and subjects so that students have choices when it comes to finding books they like. We love that books can foster imagination and open students up to places and viewpoints they would have never known. We know that adding these books to our classroom library will help foster a love for literacy.
