These materials will help assist my students in developing a deeper understanding of math. With the use of manipulatives my students will be able to interact and build a better conceptual understanding of the skills. These materials will be used across all middle school grades, but majority will be used in a 6th grade classroom. One of the fundamentally most important skills in 6th grade is being able to fluently convert between fractions, decimals, and percent's. Manipulatives help to develop a strong understanding of those standards. Anchor charts are key for spiraling content across the room.
