My students should have a chance to learn to play pitched-percussion instruments while they are in elementary. It is a great way to foster the development of a strong rhythm skills, physical coordination, and listening skills. By helping this project, you will not only help the children with innate musical skills but those students who are struggling socially and emotionally-an active way to play and make music together. Also, singing is what they really enjoy through the ukulele accompaniment I could vary the key, if they want to sing in lower key or in higher key. They love to play melodies together especially with these colorful instruments!
