Student engagement is at an all time low. They do not want to be at school, and more and more parents are allowing them to stay home. My goal is to provide an environment where my students WANT to be. When students have choices they are more engaged. Providing a choice on where they sit is one way to provide that without sacrificing academics. Business are moving to more collaborative environments and modern seating to encourage productivity and employee overall well-being. I would like to model my business classroom after this. The flexible seating I am requesting is just part of my overall layout. I will also be using traditional and standing desks.

About my class
