In our hands-on computer science class, we use Micro:bit controllers to create real-world projects using a variety of inputs and outputs such as LEDs, speakers, servo motors, light sensors, pressure sensors, and more. The class culminates with students using all of their newly acquired knowledge to create an interactive cardboard house exhibit. Students will use a pressure sensor and speaker for the doorbell, a light sensor and an LED for an automatic porch light and a servo motor as a ceiling fan or garage door. The materials requested will help adequately supply all students with what they need to learn the material and complete their projects.

About my class
