The cell phone locker will be used in my classroom because my school does not have a policy against the use of cell phones. Therefore, students are on their devices many times, regardless of how engaging or what positive reinforcements or rewards are set in place in the classroom. Because these devices are very expensive, a cell phone locker with a key needs to be used in order to keep students' personal belongings safe and cause less liability risk for the teacher as well. The use of a cell phone locker would be durable and last for many years in the classroom and would provide the structure needed to keep the distractions at bay.
