Many of my students need work in fundamental reading skills. I like to give my students multiple opportunities to practice reading the words and phonics patterns they are working on. These materials will be used as independent and small-group activities to help students grow their reading abilities. These materials will provide scaffolded support, instant feedback, and multiple ways to practice phonics skills. The Touch and Read cards provide my students with scaffolded supports on their level. The PowerPen cards give my students instant feedback, which is very helpful for students with disabilities. The word family wheels will give my students another meaningful way to practice reading words. The dice will give students a fun and engaging way to practice prefixes and suffixes. These materials will help my awesome students grow as readers and master their individualized goals. By making phonics fun, my students will be more engaged, and will learn more effectively!
