Our school wants to help students see the value of books by creating an exciting way to earn them in school. Using tokens earned from our school-wide Positive Behavior Incentive Program, children will be able to select books to own and take home that reflect diverse characters and varied interests for elementary school students. This project is meant to help add a selection of books to not only grab my student's attention, but to help them understand the world that they live in. Keeping the subjects relevant and up to date, is a big piece of keeping students engaged while reading. My hope is that with the plethora of books, each of my students can find a subject that resonates and compels them to continue on their reading adventure.
