These carpet squares will help students learn their letters and letter sounds. I can mix them up and randomly choose one and ask "what letter is this?" or "what sound does this letter make?" The carpet squares will also serve as indicators of where to sit during story time or learning. This will allow them to choose where to sit (how close or how far from a friend). Lastly, on rainy days we can spread the carpet squares around the room and go on a letter hunt. These carpet squares will be a great addition to our classroom.
