During the early years of school, students build their foundation for learning. My goal is to instill the love of learning in every child that walks into my classroom. When students learn to love learning, they become lifetime learners, leading them to a better chance of a successful future. I believe young learners learn through play. Every item was selected to help the children develop in the different domains that prek teachers focus on. For example, I selected tactile letters to go hand in hand with the alphabet sound teaching tub to help my students with special needs. I selected art supplies to bring out the creativity in the students. I selected alphabet stepping stones to identify the letter name and sounds while working on their gross motor skills. I have chosen specific items for students to learn by playing with different materials while building a solid educational foundation.
