After a long year of many difficult circumstances, our kiddos need some comfort and excitement with school again. I am moving to first grade after years of upper elementary and would love to set up my classroom as a space that is welcoming, safe and fun for my first graders next year. It will be a transition for us all and a fresh start will benefit everyone! They will love the cozy classroom set up that will provide comfort and promote collaboration. By providing a theme and "camp" community, my goal is to help these littles feel like they belong and a sense of normalcy like school use to be. I am choosing things like flexible seating, brain/regulation tools, classroom supplies and décor that will hopefully help students feel a part of a community.
