I would love to give my students the opportunity to practice free choice seating. This will provide social-emotional, communicative, and academic growth potential by allowing them to advocate for their own seat. Fair isn't everyone getting the same; fair is everyone getting what they need to be successful. It is my hope that students will develop a sense of responsibility for their learning. Respect for how those around them learn. Awareness of how to be courteous. Research states that flexible seating engages students in their learning. I want my students to excel and be successful learners.

About my class
