These materials will help with student learning in various ways. It is proven that students learn better and enjoy school more when they are able to do hands-on activities. These materials will help equip me to make math centers and reading centers more hands-on and engaging. These materials also will help alleviate some financial burden off of parents by providing my classroom with extra school supplies that students may run out of during the school year. We use crayons and glue every day in 1st grade, and having extras will prevent parents from having to buy more during the school year.
