I teach first grade at a low income school, and there are some of my students that cannot afford school supplies. We are considered a Title I school. Because of this, I am applying for this project in order to supply my students with the supplies they need. My students NEED these supplies in order to be successful during school. I am asking for several essential items such as snacks (for when they arrive too late for breakfast), markers, crayons, dry erase markers, scissors, and rulers. All of these items may seem simple, but they are very much needed in my first grade classroom. We would be so appreciative if this project was funded!
