Our students are excited to be back with us again this fall to develop skills in the technical/vocational fields of their choice. They will use these materials after researching, planning, designing, and advertising their projects to our community. Students will use the screws, stain, harps, bulbs, and brushes to create innovative, practical, and yet beautiful table lamps and ultimately showcase their learned skills. During this project, students will learn multiple skills, such how to write product descriptions, instructional and technical manual, advertising, marketing, and writing materials lists. The course is a product-based course, and throughout the semester, students will also develop their teamwork, communication, and writing skills. We are beyond excited to see the progress of our students as they collaborate with other subject areas.
