My students are Special Education students who attend a charter school on the west side of Chicago. They attend school from 8:00-5:00 Monday through Thursday and 8:00-2:30 on Fridays. They also attend Saturday school once a month. My students are struggling learners, the majority of them are reading at a 2.0 grade level, so they have to work extra hard during long school days.
