I am the Gifted and Talented teacher for Edna Rowe Elementary. My students come from all different backgrounds, both socio-economically and culturally. They are very excited about learning something new each day. Each grade, K-5, creates two projects a year. We do project-based learning activities which help students with life-long learning. We use all types of supplies such as construction paper, glue, project boards, and much much more! The students also do a lot of research on the Internet, so research skills are very important. They present their projects to their peers, staff, and parents, so having the needed materials make their projects unique and interesting. The GT students and I are glad to have Donors Choose to help us with a variety of supplies and other items for our classroom. We appreciate you and all that you do for education.
