This group of 50 STEM-loving students have spent the past month learning ALL about habitats. They journeyed through habitats such as the wetlands and the desert, and they even spent the past week making a model of a habitat. They are passionate about these projects and are even more engaged when they get real life experiences! At our school in South Chicago, it is our goal to provide any and all resources to further the passions and successes in the future! The AMAZING part of virtual learning is that we can explore new places that are miles away from us! This opportunity with the Omaha Zoo will take this group of Chicago Second Graders all the way to Nebraska! This adventure will be extraordinary and will open their eyes to more opportunities! Help us with this incredible virtual trip!

About my class
