By donating to our project, you will help to support students in reflecting and connecting with stories that affirm their cultural identities as well as introduce them to narratives from different perspectives. The selected books were presented to students via a free, virtual author visit. During this deeply challenging year, the students were thrilled to be able to enjoy an author visit offered by Mitali Perkins. The author's work reflects the diversity and perseverance of my students and I seek to provide them with the books to cherish and revisit.
