These wobble cushions will allow my first graders to learn from the comfort of the floor while remaining safe and clean. My students are restricted to their desk spots while we are learning in the building during the pandemic. We cannot have a carpet area or other flexible seating arrangements. Each student must have their own personalized materials to limit the spread of germs. These wobble cushions would allow my students to have another safe and distanced learning area. When always sitting in their seats or standing, students can get wiggly. By having a wobble cushion that can be moved to the floor, students have a spot that can be sanitized and moved from chair to floor, providing a new space for learning. Additionally, the chair bouncy bands provide another spot for students to let out some energy without needing to leave their desk spot. In a typical school year, students would have numerous opportunities throughout the day to and move around the classroom. While the bouncy bands do not quite replicate this movement, they would provide a valuable opportunity for students to let out some energy while getting work done.
