Due to the unusual times, students have missed out on so many great things that an art class has to offer, including exciting media. They haven't been able to get a well-rounded art experience and therefore are being stiffled as artists. By donating clay, you are giving students the opportunity to make something new and exciting that they can hold onto as a memory or give to someone as a gift. Parents are always looking to show off their kid's artwork, whether it's on the refrigerator or a special place on the counter. Unfortunartely, this might not be the case for everyone right now due to the lack of materials at home. However, this can change with your help. Clay is a great medium that can be divided up and easily sent home for those kids still working remotely. They will be able to form their own pinch pot and just stick it in the oven to harden. This simple to use medium will make for the perfect artwork for that special place in the house and their parent's heart.
