Block play is an important and exciting occurrence in preschool! Many skills are developed when children are playing with blocks. Important skills children develop during block play include problem-solving, imagination, self-expression, mathematics, Science, self-esteem, and social-emotional growth. All areas of development are covered in block play. I will add these blocks to the set I have already donated to the classroom to expand the number of children who can work in the block area and play with others and gain critical social skills needed to enter kindergarten!
