Health education at the middle school is always a challenging topic. Our students come from all different backgrounds and types of families and it is so important to be able to give them as much structure, reliability, and consistency as I can in the classroom. With the curriculum materials I purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to give my students clear, structured health units that align with the common core standards and include activities that will serve both in-person and remote students. The topics covered in the spring typically include more sensitive subjects such as substance abuse, sex education, and Erin's Law. It is important that I am able to cover these topics in a way that serves my 8th grade students as they transition from middle school to high school under unique circumstances. Thank you!
