We are learning how characters develop across a whole series! My students currently only have about 2 or 3 books from any series in our classroom library. This makes it difficult for them to really pick out character traits of the main and supporting characters across the entire series. Having more options to explore our characters with these series books will enhance our learning. This project will allow us to read even more books in a series to really get to know the characters. Seeing my students light up when they are given a new book makes this project so worth it! I have a group of high readers who just can't get enough of Magic Tree House, Junie B. Jones, Mercy Watson, Arthur, and other series listed for our project.
