This summer, I am hosting a 5 day, day camp for rising 3rd through 6th graders. It is the goal of my camp to encourage students to feel more comfortable in nature. During the week, students will learn about animals native to North Carolina, using tools to observe. One of the activities the students will participate in is a hike to Raven Rock State Park. Students will receive a pair of binoculars, a water bottle, and a bird reference guide. But they need a backpack to store the items to take with them on their hiking adventure. Please consider helping the students with quality hiking backpacks, to continue their love and learning of nature.
