These math and reading resources will help to make learning fun for my first graders. My project includes story books with a variety of topics and math games and materials aligned with our curriculum. My students love anytime I'm able to stop our lessons and read a story. In the first grade students are building reading skills and learning sentence structure. They enjoy the chances to grab a book and sit quietly and read to themselves. It is important that our classroom library stays full of appropriate leveled and interesting reading materials. My project also includes math games and manipulatives to assist students in our math lessons. These hands-on materials are great in helping students understand math concepts.
