My students will be using these tablets during small group instruction. When we are working during small group time, the students are broken into small groups. They are working on things that they need individually. The tablets will be used to help them work on the skills that they need. Students have lost so much instructional time due to the pandemic and we are working hard to catch up. During small group time, the students can access reading programs with books and lessons assigned to them based on their deficits. They can also do the same thing with math. This allows me to teach the standard but allows the students to work on what they are behind in. It's not all about work. The students will also get the chance to use the tablets to free read and play fun math games that are not tied to learning. This allows the student to access reading and math for pleasure.
