When I recently moved to a new classroom, I discovered that we didn’t have a classroom library (and I left my personal library at my last school for the new teacher and so those kiddos could continue reading familiar titles). My new group needs to have access to books at their current reading levels as well as their future levels! The students will be able to take our classroom books home to share with their families. What could be better than to build the love of reading in my students?
