The items that I have added to my list will help students with reading, math, and truly have an impact on students' behavior, emotions, and coping strategies. Being in a special education classroom, our students come to us with many various needs. Just like learning how to read, write, and complete math problems, students need to be taught how to cope, behave, and regulate their emotions. Many of the items on the list will provide me the opportunity to better support the students in my resource classroom, both academically and emotionally.
