Two needs I've found in my students: hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to work collaboratively. The LEGO Education BricQ Prime sets will help me provide ongoing opportunities for hands-on learning through a series of STEM explorations. These sets will also allow students to continue building skills necessary for meaningful and successful collaboration. Working with this engaging STEM solution will encourage my students to discover physical science in action as they experiment with forces, motion and interactions. LEGO Education BricQ Motion Prime will challenge my middle school students to apply their scientific inquiry skills to provide evidence of the change in an object’s motion based on its force and mass. In the curriculum unit, Science of Sports, they'll apply Newton’s three laws of motion as they design, develop, and optimize a solution involving the collision of two objects. Throughout the BricQ Motion Prime lessons, students will strengthen their communication skills in collaborative discussions, presenting and analyzing their solutions.
